Joh 5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an
infirmity thirty and eight years.
Joh 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he
had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him,
Wilt thou be made whole?
Joh 5:7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man,
when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool:
but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
Joh 5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
38 tahun itu lama..
kondisinya sudah permanen
sudah tidak bisa berubah!
artinya semakin lama dari kemungkinan dia tidak begitu (apa yang tidak begitu?)
perubahan pengharapan makin lama makin tipis hingga NOL
ini penting untuk pengertian iman..
Kamu mau sembuh tuntas?
kenapa harus ditanya?
kalau tidak mau…
kamu akan ungkapkan mau atau tidak!
YESUS tanya mau?
siapa yang tidak mau?
kenapa harus ditanya karena tidak ada
yang tidak mau!
Sudah berusaha tetapi tidak berhasil!
sudah ungkapkan kemauan-keinginan nya!
dia mengerti penyembuhan itu dihasilkan dengan ada usahanya juga
dan tidak pernah bisa karena ada yang mendahului dia!
cara sembuh bisa
tetapi dia tidak pernah bisa!
dia mau, dia juga ada usaha…
dia tidak LIHAT YESUS sebagai sumber kesembuhan!
Perhatikan…
cara kamu tidak berhasil
hasil usahanya sia2!
hasil - NOL!

0% usaha dengan hasil 0%

Apa YESUS melakukan apa2? atau hanya command?
Siapa yang harus melakukan sesuatu…
saya tidak bisa melakukan apa2
tetapi perintahnya untuk melakukan
sesuatu, bangkit, gulung tikar dan jalan…
KENAPA BISA?
DIA LAKUKAN APA YANG YESUS LAKUKAN!
SAAT BERTEKAD MAU LAKUKAN TEKAD SAYA
YESUS BERIKAN KUASA
DAN KUASA KRISTUS SAYA GUNAKAN
TANPA SADAR MENURUT
YESUS = KUASA ILAHI
SAYA = USAHA MANUSIA
SAAT USAHA MANUSIA DENGAN KUASA ILAHI
AKAN MENGHASILKAN
SAMA2 ADA USAHA
TETAPI YANG BISA MELAKUKAN IALAH kuasa Ilahi

yang bekerja KUASA BAPA
sama2 ada usaha
orang lumpuh berusaha
sebelum ketemu YESUS
coba mau masuk kolam
tidak pernah berhasil
setelah dengar YESUS
dia juga berusaha
dan seharusnya hasil sama
TIDAK ada hasil apa2
tetapi kali ini ada yang beda
yaitu
sehingga, BUKAN KARENA TIDAK BERUSAHA
TETAPI KARENA TIDAK ADA POWER UNTUK
BERHASIL
PERBEDAAN DENGAN YESUS
USAHANYA DIBERIKAN KEKUATAN
Orang itu tidak berargumentasi
dia menurut apa yang diinstruksikan!
ini NAMAnya percaya
TUHAN BILANG, “SAYA BIKIN”
tidak mementingkan mengerti atau tidak!
IMAN SEPERTI INI YANG KITA PERLUKAN!
Bikin saja yang harus dibikin
karena kuasa itu yang akan bekerja!
Faith and Works!
There was the impotent man, and as Christ talked with him, he told the pitiful story of how, just as soon as he would go down into the water to be healed, somebody else would step in before him. Christ asked him, “Wilt thou be made whole?” (John 5:6). What a question! That was what he was there for, but Christ wanted to call forth the expression of desire in that man's heart to be made whole. And when Christ bade him to rise, take up his bed and walk, he did just as Christ told him to do. He did not say, “Why, I have been here thirty years and have not taken a step during that time.” He did not stop to argue, but did just as he was bidden. He took up his bed and walked out and was healed from that time. FW 68.2
This is the faith that we need. But if you stop to explain everything and reason out every point, you will die in your sins, because you will never be satisfied. FW 68.3
HARUS DIBIASAKAN “MELAKUKAN APA YANG FIRMAN KATAKAN”
Saya tidak bisa reason
nanti bagaimana?
Orang lumpuh tidak pakai reason!
dengan catatan mengenal Firman Tuhan!
Harus belajar dan mengerti itu benar!
Harus tahu untuk diri sendiri…
“I want,” says one, “to reason out this matter.” Well, reason it out if you can. “The wind bloweth where it listeth,” and you hear the sound thereof, but you cannot explain it. And no more can you explain the things of God upon the human heart. You cannot explain this faith that lays right hold upon the merits of the blood of a crucified and risen Saviour to bring Christ's righteousness into your life. Clothed with the righteousness of Christ and not your own righteousness, you will not depend upon what you can do or what you will do. Don't you know you cannot do anything without Christ? “Without Me,” He says, “ye can do nothing” (John 15:5). FW 65.3
God's promises are all made upon conditions. If we do His will, if we walk in truth, then we may ask what we will, and it shall be done unto us. While we earnestly endeavor to be obedient, God will hear our petitions; but He will not bless us in disobedience. If we choose to disobey His commandments, we may cry, “Faith, faith, only have faith,” and the response will come back from the sure Word of God, “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:20). Such faith will only be as sounding brass and as a tinkling cymbal. In order to have the benefits of God's grace we must do our part; we must faithfully work and bring forth fruits meet for repentance. FW 47.2
We are workers together with God. You are not to sit in indolence, waiting for some great occasion, in order to do a great work for the Master. You are not to neglect the duty that lies directly in your pathway, but you are to improve the little opportunities that open around you.... FW 47.3
You are NOT to sit indolence
meaning you have to DO YOUR PART!
You have something to do!
selalu harus kerjasama dengan Tuhan
sementara saya kerja; Tuhan juga bekerja
dengan saya!
harus melakukan bagian kamu (tidak malas)
untuk Tuhan lakukan bagian Nya
menunggu peristiwa terjadi…
menunggu panen, bukankah musimnya
makan tidak?
hanya yang bekerja makan!

MELAINKAN DIA BERDIRI UNTUK PERISTIWA BESAR
BUKAN SEBALIKNYA, LAUTAN TERBUKA BARU

Daging kita sangat hebat membuat kita
melayani keinginan daging
jangan pikir ngerti padahal tidak
sehingga daging ada kesempatan
untuk memuaskan diri
bila tidak mengerti dan tidak bisa terangkan
saat belum sempurna (tetapi saya tahu benar)
ketidak mantapan ini saya bisa di goncangkan
karena yang saya pikir benar ini bisa saya
sangkal pada saat itu
tetapi kalau tahu benar
saya tidak akan mau melayani kecuali
kalau saya memang mau melanggar
keinginan mengikuti benar
belum cukup bila belum benar2 tahu
pengertian sempurna
karena ketidak pengetahuan ini
membuat ruangan untuk bisa melayani
daging!

Luk 5:20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Luk 5:22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
Luk 5:23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
Luk 5:24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
Luk 5:25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
Luk 5:26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
