Matthew 5:14-16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
TUJUAN HIDUP = MENJADI TERANG DUNIA!
Kita menjadi terang dunia, KARENA dunia gelap!
Kita harus menunjukkan TERANG Firman Tuhan kepada dunia yang gelap!
Terang = IMAN
Terang Dunia untuk dilihat!
Yesus datang saat dunia sudah melihat KEBENARAN ITU!
(belum datang saat masih gelap dan belum ada yang menerangi)
ADA TERANG KEGELAPAN
(ada IMAN) (tidak ada IMAN)
Terang Firman Tuhan Tidak memiliki Terang Tuhan
DI ungkapkan Dosa di sembunyikan
TERANG MENGUNGKAP DOSA TERUNGKAP
DOSA SAAT TERANG MASUK!
Kapan YESUS datang? COL 69 = Saat sudah ada manusia yang tidak berdosa lagi!
YERUSALEM (ISAIAH 52:1 = NO MORE SIN) BABYLON (city of SIN)
TERANG DI PERLIHATKAN Kegelapan (tidak ada terang)
EW 261 - apakah jujur dengan pekabaran?
bila jujur rela melepaskan
1 Corinthians 8 : 1 - …
1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
Kalau jadi stumblingblock akan ada yang dilemahkan!
walaupun bisa buktikan tidak ada salahnya, sehingga
tujuan hidup adalah untuk apa?
Saya hidup untuk kemuliaan Tuhan? atau untuk kepenuhan
saya?
1 Corinthians 8:10-11
10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
Apakah demi selfishness saya sehingga orang lain harus
binasa?
KEKRISTENAN adalah PENYANGKALAN DIRI
DAN KESELAMATAN JIWA!
INI MEMBUKTIKAN SAYA PENGIKUT SIAPA?
PENGIKUT YESUS (AKAN menyangkal walaupun benar sekalipun
tetapi itu bisa membuat orang LEMAH dan HILANG)
PENGIKUT FLESH!
1 Corinthians 8:12-13
12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
SAYA TIDAK AKAN MELAKUKAN ITU …
WALAU HAK SAYA SEKALIPUN & TIDAK ADA SALAHNYA
MELAKUKAN ITU..
KALAU ITU BERARTI AKAN JADI BATU SANDUNGAN
DAN ADA YANG HILANG!
1 Corinthians 9:1- …
1 Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord?
2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.
3 Mine answer to them that do examine me is this,
Rasul Paulus siap di uji! (nothing hidden)
4 Have we not power to eat and to drink?
5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
6 Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working?
7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
8 Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?
9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
yang bekerja berharap akan makan dari hasil pekerjaannya!
11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
sekarang Paulus mengalihkan perhatian ke hal SPIRITUAL
sehingga berhak makan dari taburan dia…..
INI PAULUS BERBICARA KEPADA ORANG GENTILES…
12 If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
SAYA TIDAK MAU MENGGUNAKAN HAK SAYA
WALAU TIDAK SALAH
TETAPI BISA MENJADI BATU SANDUNGAN!
CH 560.2
We are ambassadors for Christ and we are to live, not to save our reputation, but to save perishing souls from perdition. Our daily endeavor should be to show them that they may gain truth and righteousness. Instead of trying to elicit sympathy for ourselves by giving others the impression that we are not appreciated, we are to forget self entirely; and if we fail to do this, through want of spiritual discernment and vital piety, God will require at our hands the souls of those for whom we should have labored. He has made provision that every worker in His service may have grace and wisdom, that he may become a living epistle, known and read of all men.
By watchfulness and prayer we may accomplish just what the Lord designs that we shall. By faithful, painstaking discharge of our duty, by watching for souls as they that must give account, we may remove every stumbling block out of the way of others. By earnest warnings and entreaties, with our own souls drawn out in tender solicitude for those that are ready to perish, we may win souls to Christ.
John 4:4-7
4 And he must needs go through Samaria.
5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
SYCHAR (MABUK) = BABYLON
6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
dia perlu dan mau minum tetapi..
tidak mau dipertanyakan kehidupannya
Yesus datang pas untuk ketemu dia yang mau
menghindari orang banyak…
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
panggil suami kamu kesini….
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
dulu pernah ada 5 suami
yang sekarang bukan suami kamu
perhatikan….
SAYA TIDAK BILANG KAMU SEDANG BERSELINGKUH ETC
YANG SAYA BILANG ADALAH
YANG ADA SAMA KAMU BUKAN SUAMI KAMU!
ARTINYA, BUKAN CUMA BERSELINGKUH
TETAPI KAMU ADA DENGAN YANG BUKAN SAH DENGAN KAMU!
BUKTINYA DATANG SIANG HARI SUPAYA
TIDAK BERTEMU ORANG!
ORANG LAIN BISA DILEMAHKAN KARENA KAMU
BISA JADI BATU SANDUNGAN DAN ORANG
AKAN HILANG…..
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Yesus tidak mengatakan, “jangan alihkan pembicaraan”
“HOW DO YOU TREAT MY MESSAGE”
UPON RECEIVING OR REJECTING OUR
ETERNAL DESTINY DEPENDS…
27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
tinggalkan EMBER-NYA
melambangkan “yang selalu menyebabkan dia alihkan…”
29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
WANITA MENJADI TERANG DUNIA SAAT
MENENTUKAN UNTUK MENERIMA FIRMAN
lebih penting KEBENARAN
DARI PADA
YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
YOU LIVE FOR YOURSELF
OR FOR CHRIST!
