Sabbath sermon 12_10_2022
We need to “hear” / “discern” what is needed for our “salvation”!
2 Peter 1 : 12, Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things,
though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
We need to review verses over and over to hear what is needed for our salvation!
Faith cometh by hearing by the Word of God Romans 10:17
How do we have faith if our understanding is incomplete? let’s not deceive ourselves!
Bottom line, we need to REALLY UNDERSTAND what we hear!
Let’s begin with a verse,
John 16 : 12, I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Our ability to understand the WORD of God is a gradual process!
This is a reality since the fall of man, the ability continue to deteriorate..
Not that Jesus cannot give all, but I am not able to bear all
Based on the above principle,
Jesus must have also given the answer based on the understanding of the
disciples in Matthew 24:3
1 Corinthians 10 : 13, There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:
but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
God will not allow me to bear above my ability, therefore
God will unveil (little at a time) according to my ability!
Example
USL, the knowledge about this event will be given to us based on our
ability to understand and bear..
While i see the danger coming ahead of me, God also will reveal to me
His power that will enable me to endure that is coming ahead, thereby I
will learn how to trust and depend on Him!
We must understand that we are entering to an unimaginable event before us
however our focus should be in the power of God to sustain us in that
time!
God will unveil to us the understanding of this troublous times ahead
according to our ability! Ensure we obey what is already revealed to us
at this present time!
We need to work together to strengthen one another to face the
coming time…
TO HELP OTHERS, we need to focus less on our own SELF!
Example
PARENTS TO CHILD, etc
while i’m focusing to facing what is ahead
don’t let my time be robbed by entertaining
other people’s selfish needs!
unfortunately, this is taking away the time and
effort needed for my own salvation!
WE DO NOT NEED to deal to ANYONE WHO
CONTINUES TO BE SELFISH
What we need is to encourage and support
one another to face this largest time of trouble
such as never was!
When one continues to please the “flesh”
this will be the one who will bring own brethren
to be persecuted!
