Comment on the above Title
This is a continuation from the last Lesson#7, THE YEARLY FEAST, Feast tahunan
Some say that the yearly feast, along with ceremonial law only apply before the cross, hence
they were nailed to the cross in 31AD!
But is this Biblical?
Let's use the Bible to be its own expositor.
Annual = Yearly, Holy Days; These are holy days
celebrated once a year, as an holyday, at the time
which is appointed by God.
The Introduction,
Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
Zec 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

The MEAT and DRINK (bayang2 hidup kekal)
hari-hari raya tahunan (annual holy days)
Comment
Lukas 2:41, 42 juga menggunakan kata Heortay (G1859)
Luk 2:41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
Luk 2:42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
Jesus and his parents went to Jerusalem EVERY YEAR (this is the annual FEAST)
Comment
Kepada Musa diberikan perintah untuk melalukan FEAST (H2287, chagag - to observe a FESTIVAL)
Ini ditulis di buku Exodus 23 : 14-16
Exo 23:14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
Exo 23:15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
Exo 23:16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
3 kali setahun (arti-nya ini - tahunan - ANNUAL HOLY DAYS, an holyday;
bulan pertama (Abib) - Passover
bulan ketiga (50 hari setelah tanggal 16) - Pentecost
bulan ketujuh - Feast of ingathering
Latar belakang: Tuhan memberikan feast of the Lord (kembali) karena mereka punya nenek moyang dahulu sudah pernah ketahui tentang perayaan2 ini, kemudian mereka LUPA saat berada di Mesir, sehingga Tuhan perlu mengingatkan kembali.
Baca DA Chapter 49, halaman 447.1
Three times a year the Jews were required to assemble at Jerusalem for religious purposes. Enshrouded in the pillar of cloud, Israel's invisible Leader had given the directions in regard to these gatherings. During the captivity of the Jews, they could not be observed; but when the people were restored to their own land, the observance of these memorials was once more begun. It was God's design that these anniversaries should call Him to the minds of the people. But with few exceptions, the priests and leaders of the nation had lost sight of this purpose. He who had ordained these national assemblies and understood their significance witnessed their perversion. DA 447.1
Also in Patriarch and Prophets,
There were three annual assemblies of all Israel for worship at the sanctuary. Exodus 23:14-16. Shiloh was for a time the place of these gatherings; but Jerusalem afterward became the center of the nation's worship, and here the tribes convened for the solemn feasts. PP 537.1
The people were surrounded by fierce, warlike tribes, that were eager to seize upon their lands; yet three times every year all the able-bodied men and all the people who could make the journey were directed to leave their homes and repair to the place of assembly, near the center of the land. What was to hinder their enemies from sweeping down upon those unprotected households, to lay them waste with fire and sword? What was to prevent an invasion of the land, that would bring Israel into captivity to some foreign foe? God had promised to be the protector of His people. “The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.” Psalm 34:7 [A.R.V.]. While the Israelites went up to worship, divine power would place a restraint upon their enemies. God's promise was, “I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the Lord thy God thrice in the year.” Exodus 34:24. PP 537.2
The first of these festivals, the Passover, the feast of unleavened bread, occurred in Abib, the first month of the Jewish year, corresponding to the last of March and the beginning of April. The cold of winter was past, the latter rain had ended, and all nature rejoiced in the freshness and beauty of the springtime. The grass was green on the hills and valleys, and wild flowers everywhere brightened the fields. The moon, now approaching the full, made the evenings delightful. It was the season so beautifully pictured by the sacred singer: PP 537.3

This is the same WORD USED IN Colossians 2:16, holyday, G1859, HEORTAY, di Colossians dikatakan HOLYDAY
yang artinya FESTIVAL, FEAST
yang artinya juga ANNUAL FEAST, HOLY DAYS
Comment
Comment
A FIXED TIME
A FIXED SEASON
FESTIVAL
An Assembly
A solemn feast
A set feast
Appointed Time = waktu2 yang sudah ditetapkan!
Sebelum SALIB untuk bawa peresembahan korban bakaran
Setelah SALIB untuk meat and drink!
Fungsi daripada FEAST adalah pada APPOINTED TIME kita BEHOLD THE LOVE OF GOD YANG DIUNGKAPKAN DI KAYU SALIB; kita mengasihi GOD karena DIA lebih dahulu mengasihi KITA
Comment
